5 out of 5 for Laia Sanz

Laia Sanz has ended her participation in the 2012 Women's World Cup with five victories in the five races held.
After last week winning of her twelfth world title, the Gas Gas rider arrived at Moutier without pressure but with the same hunger for victory as always. So on the tricky Swiss zones she managed to two dabs per lap, finishing with a brilliant card of just 4 points, with Sandra Gomez also with Gas Gas following with 15, and a score of 16 for the British rider Rebekah Cook . The zones of this race did not show the difficulty of the course of last week, where she had to contend against the pressure and from inactivity in recent weeks due to convalescence from her injury. This time Laia has felt more comfortable and more pressure-free than in the battle between the two high-level contestants in the race just seven days ago. Besides, her injured toe is considerably improved, and it appears that she is in the final stages of her recovery and will be 100% in mid-October for the last event of World Enduro Championship where she will be proclaimed World Enduro Champion for the first time.

Laia Sanz

"It was a Trial calmer than the previous week. The ground was slippery but it was less difficult. I felt much more comfortable. Had no kind of pressure and also in recent days have seen my injury markedly improved. Last week was after much inactivity and here in Moutiers I've come up from the level of the two races last week and this has been noticed in the riding of today "
