Following the opening of the World Enduro Championship last weekend in Talca, Chile, and with a successful outcome for the team riders who kept Gas Gas on the podium in the standings, comes a new event in the Argentinean town of San Juan, where high temperatures may play a key factor in the results of the tests.

For his part, the Frenchman Rodrig Thain, after securing a podium finish in the second round of the GP of Chile with his EC 300 R, is now ranked third in the E3 category. Thain is fighting for second place and believes it is possible to reach that position, because the Frenchman is rapidly adapting to the new bike and category.

In Junior, the riders from the Gas Gas School of Champions are also making their mark. Danny McCanney, despite suffering a blow against a tree in the first lap of the course on Sunday, was able to finish the test in fifth, and ranks second in the provisional standings thanks to his second place on Saturday.

The Chilean rider Diego 'Toro' Rojas in his World Cup debut is another promising members of Gas Gas School of Champions, ranging from less to more, and after the test held in his country, in which he had the support of the home crowd, entered early into the ‘top ten’ of the Junior category. The competition starts on Friday afternoon, with the SuperSpecial commencing in parallel with the start at seven in the evening, local time. On Saturday and Sunday the riders will have four laps with a distance of 55 kilometers.
