NOAH FERGUSON TO COMPLETE PROMX SEASON WITH GASGAS RACING TEAM

GASGAS Racing Team has called Noah Ferguson in to contest the remaining two rounds of the Australian ProMX Championship, filling in for injured MX2 team regular Blake Fox.

Ferguson will make his debut with the team on Sunday, August 13, at Queensland Moto Park's (QMP) penultimate round of the season, before also lining up at Coolum's championship finals next weekend.

It's a timely opportunity for the 19-year-old Ferguson to join the GASGAS Racing Team riding the MC 250F, currently ranked sixth in the 2022 point-standings following six rounds. His season-high result came at Maitland in June, where he claimed third overall.

Fox, meanwhile, has been on the road to recovery since undergoing knee surgery recently and will unfortunately be sidelined for the remainder of 2022. The MX2 rookie had been building momentum in the first half of ProMX prior to his season-ending injuries in July.

Noah Ferguson: "It's a really good opportunity for me to join the GASGAS Racing Team and I'm excited for these final two rounds of ProMX. There has been a lot of hard work going into this year and I've had a lot of great people behind me, so this is a nice reward after the results we've been able to put in. I've had a good couple of weeks on the team's MC 250F leading into QMP, so I'm confident I can put in a good performance there and I can't wait for my home round at Coolum next weekend as well! Hopefully we can finish off the season really strong together."

Kyle Blunden (KTM Group Australia Motorsport Manager): "Noah is an exciting young talent that we have been keeping an eye throughout the series and we’re thrilled to welcome him to the team. With Blake Fox out for the remainder of the season rehabilitating from successful knee surgery, it has opened up a spot on our MC 250F. Noah’s had great support from many people and we thank them for allowing him to join the GASGAS Racing Team and fill that spot at this late stage of the season. We’re excited to get behind the gates again at round seven of the ProMX at QMP this weekend."
