With the Moto3 calendar offering all riders a break from racing throughout July, we jumped at the chance to sit down with GASGAS Aspar Team riders Sergio Garcia and Izan Guevara to see how things have been shaping up during the first half of the season.
As it turns out, these young racers don’t really know the meaning of taking time off! And with both of them armed with our dirt bikes, trial bikes, and bicycles, they’ve spent the last few weeks kicking back and riding for fun, before the serious stuff resumes next month.
After nine rounds of the 2021 Moto3 World Championship, Sergio Garcia currently lies second in the championship standings. With a couple of race victories to his name this year, the young Spaniard enters the second half of the season looking for more in a bid to close the gap on the current series leader.
