Albert Cabestany returns to the World Championship ridding the innovative GasGas TXE to try to revalidate the crowns of Marc Colomer (2017) and Loris Gubian (2018) in the first two editions of the Trial-E Cup.
The fascinating GasGas Trial Factory Team project has motivated his comeback to competition. Thus, next June 22 and 23, in Zehlem (Holland), Albert Cabestany will put on his gloves and helmet again to battle for a new world title, this time electric.
The third edition of the Trial-E Cup continues with two races: the Dutch Grand Prix - previously mentioned - and the Belgian GP, in Comblain-au-Point, on the weekend of June 29 and 30.
“I am very excited about this new GasGas project and its electric trial bike: the TXE. Electric bikes have always caught my attention. Since they appeared, I have been interested on them and to be part of such an ambitious project and so encouraging for the future of our sport is a pleasure for me. Furthermore, along a brand like GasGas that carries on the competition DNA. I am delighted to join the team and help move this new bike to a better future in our sport. I can’t wait to go full throttle and especially to enjoy riding it,” says the new GasGas team rider."
