Rockstar Energy GASGAS Factory Racing rider Justin Barcia charged to a 10th-place finish at Round 8 of the 2025 AMA Supercross Championship in Daytona, Florida, on Saturday night, putting together a consistent performance in one of the toughest races of the year. Top 10 form continues for Justin Barcia at Daytona BAMBAM aiming for more through the mid-stages of Supercross Currently positioned seventh in 450SX standings In the 450SX qualifying sessions this afternoon, Barcia set the ninth-fastest lap-time onboard his GASGAS MC 450F Factory Edition, with the Daytona track layout a mixture of loamy, motocross-style elements among ultra-technical Supercross obstacles at the famed speedway. The number 51 got off to a strong start in his Heat Race, before being caught up in an incident through the opening rhythm lane and going down. Remounting at the rear of the field, Barcia clawed his way into eighth, earning a direct transfer to the Main Event. On a deteriorating circuit, Barcia maintained consistency throughout the Main Event despite a mid-pack start, with a 10th place finish the final result for the Rockstar Energy GASGAS Factory Racing rider. It marked his seventh top 10 score in eight rounds, currently sitting P7 in the standings. Justin Barcia: "Daytona is always tough, no matter where you finish. I wasn’t able to find comfort today, we were searching a little bit, which is a bit frustrating given I rode super-good last weekend. Daytona is a different beast altogether, so I am keen to get back indoors, get to Indy, and put the bike back up front.” Next Race: March 8 – Indianapolis, Indiana Results 450SX Class – Daytona 1. Rockstar Energy GASGAS Factory Racing rider Justin Barcia charged to a sixth-place result inside Arlington’s AT&T Stadium for Round 7 the 2025 AMA Supercross Championship, claiming three strong Triple Crown race finishes in an action-packed night of racing. Justin Barcia matches season-best result with sixth place overall at Round 7 A 5-9-4 individual Main Event scorecard for BAMBAM Experienced racer maintains seventh position in 450SX standings Lap-times were tight in the 450SX qualifying sessions on the soft and rutted Arlington layout, with Barcia setting the 11th-fastest time onboard his GASGAS MC 450F Factory Edition this afternoon. The number 51 would showcase his speed early as the night program arrived, with Barcia well in the mix against the top contenders and racing to a P5 finish in the first encounter. Running up front in the second race, BAMBAM came together with another rider at the midway point, falling down before remounting and continuing to work hard on his way to ninth. A clean race in the third and final outing earned Barcia P4, which took him to sixth overall for the weekend. Justin Barcia: "The Triple Crown in Arlington was a step in the right direction for us. First race was good, second race was going good before I got tangled up with another rider while battling inside the top five, which was a real bummer. I regrouped for the third race and finished fourth in that one, which was the ride of the year for me as I started right at the back! We're moving in the direction where we want to be, and I'm stoked to be heading into Daytona next, that's for sure." Next Race: March 1 – Daytona, Florida Results 450SX Class – Arlington 1. Rockstar Energy GASGAS Factory Racing’s Justin Barcia delivered a share of speed and consistency inside Detroit’s Ford Field for Round 6 of the 2025 AMA Supercross Championship, finishing the Main Event in seventh place and moving to seventh in the overall 450SX standings. Justin Barcia finishes Detroit Main Event in seventh position Experienced racer moves to seventh overall in 450SX point standings Arm tightness holding BAMBAM back from full potential Laptimes were close in the 450SX qualifying sessions on the tight Ford Field layout, with Barcia setting the 11th-fastest time aboard his GASGAS MC 450F Factory Edition. In the second Heat Race of the event, BAMBAM powered his way into the mix with the race leaders, banging bars early on as he found his way into the fifth position. The New York native would remain there for the remainder of the race, punching his ticket into the Main Event. The number 51 got out of the gates to a mid-pack start in the Main Event, fighting amongst the top 10 positions for the majority of the race as he struggled with tightness in his arms. In true BAMBAM style, he never stopped charging, chasing down his rivals until the checkered flag flew. Justin Barcia: "I really liked Detroit! My starts were good today, I felt decent on the bike speed-wise, I’m just struggling a little bit still with tightness in my arms, and that’s limiting my intensity. It’s disapointing as we’re really close to the top-five and even the podium, so we’ll keep working to be better – further up is where we know we can be!” Next Race: February 22 – Arlington, Texas Results 450SX Class – Detroit 1.
