ANDREA VERONA WINS 2024 ENDURO2 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

He's done it! Sealing the deal with one round to spare, GASGAS Factory Racing’s Andrea Verona has won the FIM Enduro2 World Championship after topping the timesheets on both days at the GP of Wales. Winning every day except one so far, where he finished as runner-up, Andrea’s near-perfect season has earned him a well-deserved seventh career world title.

Switching to the GASGAS EC 350F and the Enduro2 category for the 2023 season, Andrea finished the year as runner-up. Now in 2024 and with more experience under his belt, the number 99 has enjoyed a dominant season in the class, taking 11 wins from the 12 days raced, and headed into the penultimate round with an impressive 39-point lead in the Enduro2 standings. Talk about consistency!

Arriving at the GP of Wales with a 39-point lead in Enduro2, Andrea looked to get his weekend off to a solid start in Friday’s Super Test on his GASGAS EC 350 F. Unfortunately, a small crash put a dampener on things. But quickly getting back on the gas Saturday, the Italian went on to top the Enduro2 timesheets on all but one test. Winning the class by a comfortable 59 seconds moved him one step closer to clinching the 2024 title.

Raring to go on Sunday, Verona came out swinging to top the opening test in Rhayader. Maintaining his streak of winning results, and despite a crash on the cross test on lap two, the Italian won nine of the 10 tests raced to bring his EC 350F home 24 seconds ahead of his nearest E2-class rival. In securing the win, Verona claimed the Enduro2 world title with one round to spare – an amazing achievement for the insanely fast 25-year-old!

With the Enduro2 title wrapped up, all eyes are now on the final round of the FIM EnduroGP World Championship, where Andrea will look to take the fight to Josep Garcia in EnduroGP. Narrowly missing the podium on both days in Wales, Andrea still lies second overall in the EnduroGP class standings. And you can be sure the GASGAS star will be giving his all at the final round, held in Brioude, France, on September 13-15.

A hard-fought top 10 result saw Rockstar Energy GASGAS Factory Racing and Justin Barcia complete Anaheim 2 with a solid haul of points today, marking Round 3 of the 2025 AMA Supercross Championship. Justin Barcia races to 10th position at Anaheim 2 Bam Bam holds down ninth in the 450SX standings Ryder DiFrancesco sat out the round after a mid-week crash Onboard the GASGAS MC 450F Factory Edition, Bam Bam posted the ninth-fastest lap-time within Angel Stadium during qualifying. In his Heat Race, Barcia was able to work his way from outside the top 10 into P7 before the checkered flag fell. Come the Main Event and with rain falling to make for technical track conditions, the 32-year-old found himself buried mid-pack exiting the first turn, but he was able to make enough passes on a slick surface to finish with a well-earned result in 10th position. After four rounds, Bam Bam sits ninth in the standings. Justin Barcia: "I came into A2 feeling strong on the bike, but I struggled with my flow in my Heat Race and got a bit tight. I thought we’d worked it out for the Main Event, but unfortunately, I got mixed up at the beginning then rode extremely tight the whole race. It was a disappointing night, because I didn’t perform the way I wanted to or ride the way I should, so we’ll regroup for Phoenix! I’m a good sprinter, so I’m looking forward to the Triple Crown format." CONSISTENCY CONTINUES IN SAN DIEGO FOR ROCKSTAR ENERGY GASGAS FACTORY RACING

Rockstar Energy GASGAS Factory Racing riders Ryder DiFrancesco and Justin Barcia have continued their solid start to the 2025 AMA Supercross Championship season, finishing fifth and eighth, respectively, in San Diego this weekend. Consistency continues for Rockstar Energy GASGAS Factory Racing Second-consecutive top-five result in 250SX West for Ryder DiFrancesco! Justin Barcia maintains sixth position in 450SX title-race DiFrancesco was competitive all day in the 250SX West division. Riding the GASGAS MC 250F Factory Edition, the 19-year-old logged the fifth-fastest time in qualifying, then improved on a mid-pack start to finish his Heat in P4. In the Main Event, Ryder D hooked a good start and put himself in a podium position at the halfway mark, but a couple of mistakes toward the end of the race saw him lose two places and cross the line in P5. With a pair of top-five results to open the year, he's placed fifth in the 250SX standings. Ryder DiFrancesco: "San Diego was good all day! My qualifying, Heat race and Main Event were all consistent. The Main was going to plan until halfway when I made a huge mistake and got bumped back to fourth, then got passed on the last lap and finished fifth. My goal was to be in the fight all year and that’s where we are, so it was a good day all-in-all." In a competitive qualifying session, 450SX contender Barcia’s seventh-fastest lap-time on his GASGAS MC 450F Factory Edition showed that he had pace early on at Snapdragon Stadium, and he brought that same speed into his Heat where he finished with a P4 score. Bam Bam found himself mid-pack off the start to the premier class Main Event, before he chipped away at the riders ahead of him, eventually crossing the finish-line in P8. Barcia's consistent results currently see him hold down sixth in the 450SX standings. Justin Barcia: "It was a better day, for sure. We started off qualifying P7, which was good, as I’ve struggled in practice a bit so far this year. The bike was working well though! My Heat race was good, but I needed a better start, and it was the same in the Main Event. I needed to fight really hard to eighth place, so it wasn’t the result we wanted, but we did a lot of good stuff today and we’re extremely excited to fix a few little things this week and come out swinging at A2."
