Just look at it... the new GASGAS EC 300 GP is a thing of beauty! Easily the best looking enduro bike we've ever produced, taking inspiration from the GASGAS raced to victory in the 1994 Enduro World Championship, this stunning new model is much, much more than 'just' a beautiful looking bike. Beyond the black rims, black frame, sick graphics, and the anodized hardware like the front axle puller and SUPERSPROX rear sprocket, there's a Map Select Switch for tailored power and a skid plate to protect the motor for continued performance. Speaking of performance, a radiator fan keeps things cool no matter how wild things get. In addition, there's also a set of Dunlop AT 82 tires, which'll give you all the traction needed to get up and over whatever obstacles you tackle. The EC 300 GP is without a doubt the most complete enduro bike we've ever built. We know you're going to love it just as much as we do.

STYLE

GRAPHICS

How good does this bike look? Inspired by the graphics fitted to the Enduro World Championship-winning GASGAS from way back in 1994, we've updated the design 30 years later and applied it to the GASGAS EC 300 GP using IML technology. This modern in-mold application process means the graphics will never fade, scratch, or peel, so the bike will look as good as new for quite some time.

BODYWORK

Oh yeah, we've really spiced things up with the look of the GASGAS EC 300 GP! Mostly red, naturally, we've also added a little bit of black and yellow to the bodywork to make sure that the EC 300 GP really stands out from the crowd. The large contact surfaces of the bodywork let you grip the bike with your knees no matter how gnarly conditions get, too. A full gripper seat cover holds you in place with its black sides lining up perfectly with the graphics. And to top things off, a red tank cover adds an extra splash of color.

HANDLEBARS

To tie in with cool look of the GASGAS EC 300 GP, black NEKEN bars and black handguards sure add some style. Then, medium compound, lock-on ODI grips are fitted to provide plenty of comfort throughout even the longest of days on the bike.

ANODIZED HARDWARE

Not only adding a little extra spice to the bike, but the red-anodized front axle puller and SUPERSPROX Stealth rear sprocket are well-known as essential upgrades for any enduro rider. Firstly, the axle puller makes front wheel removal and re-installation incredibly simple. Then, with its steel teeth and aluminum center, the sprocket will outlast any aluminum part by at least three times and only adds a fraction more weight.

AIRBOX

Less time working on bikes means more time riding bikes, which is precisely why you'll love the straightforward, no tools and no nonsense filter mounting system. Allowing quick and easy filter changes, the airbox is designed with precisely positioned inlet ducts to direct the flow of air towards the Twin Air filter, which helps create maximum horsepower.

FUEL TANK

Super slim and made from transparent polythene, the fuel tank lets you see how much fuel is inside while a threaded filler cap provides a secure and reliable seal. Beneath the fuel tank is a stronger support made from rubber that not only helps hold the tank firmly in place but protects the frame from wear as well. With an integrated fuel pump allowing the tank to be emptied further before refueling, extended rides are not a problem for this GASGAS!

FOOTPEGS

Bigger is better when it comes to footpegs. That's precisely why they not only have a larger surface area for maximum grip, but we've also made them less likely to catch on the edges of deep ruts, which mean no loss to forward momentum. The pegs are also light and prevent mud from building up. So, no matter how gnarly the track gets, you'll stay in complete control.

HANDLING

HANDLING

FRAME

As the stock frame on the EC 300 delivers playful handling, razor-sharp cornering, and confidence-inspiring straight-line stability, there was simply no need to change things up for the GASGAS EC 300 GP. But, as you can see, the black, glossy powder-coated finish really makes this bike pop! And to protect it, there's a set of grippy frame protectors.

SUBFRAME

The all-aluminium subframe is light, strong, and works as one with the new frame by helping to centralize mass and contributing massively to the bike's outstanding handling characteristics.

TRIPLE CLAMPS

Forged aluminum triple clamps offer just the right amount of calculated flex thanks to a more forgiving steering stem. The triple clamps align the fork tubes perfectly for a smooth action, which improves front wheel feedback and leads to predictable handling on any track and any terrain. The adjustable bar mounts with the slightly larger contact area against the handlebars reduce the chance of the bars twisting. A glass bead blasted finish means the triple clamps always look as good as new.

WP FORKS

Up front, WP XPLOR Open Cartridge forks take care of soaking up the bumps with ease. Speaking of things being easy, adjusting the forks' set-up to suit your speed, weight, and style couldn't be any simpler. On top of the left fork leg you can dial in the compression while over on the right fork leg you can fine tune the rebound, with both settings adjustable by hand. So, so, easy!

WP SHOCK

Continuing to offer 300mm of travel, the performance of the WP XACT rear shock is taken up a notch for 2025 thanks to the new, lower friction seals in the linkage while a smaller diameter linkage bolt saves a little weight. Making sure every rider can create a personalized set-up, the shock can be adjusted by hand in various ways. High and low speed compression, as well as rebound can all be fine-tuned quickly and easily for maximum comfort and traction.

SWINGARM

Cast from one piece of aluminum, the swingarm on this GASGAS certainly looks the business! A new, stronger chain slider improves durability and keeps the chain running smoother for longer. At the rear of the swingarm you'll find a chain guide with a rounded profile to help it glide over the ground as you lay the bike over through deeply rutted turns. Finally, clear chain adjustment markings ensure quick and easy maintenance.

MOTOR

MOTOR

ELECTRONIC FUEL INJECTION (EFI)

Throttle Body Injection (TBI) makes the EC 300 an absolute dream to ride! Why? Let us fill you in... While you're riding, the ECU continuously analyzes the air and water temperature, crankcase pressure, RPM, and the position of the throttle. What this means is that the perfect mix of air and fuel is delivered into the motor at all times, so it runs clean and offers maximum power when you get on the gas.

CYLINDER & PISTON

One thing you won't find on the EC 300 is an old school powervalve! As the bike's fuelled using Throttle Body Injection (TBI), an electronic exhaust control system is used instead, and it works by opening the lateral exhaust ports before the main exhaust port opens. What does this mean? Well, it creates a smooth, strong, and very rideable power delivery that all enduro riders will love out on the trails.

TRANSMISSION

A wide ratio, 6-speed, enduro-specific transmission lets you attack the terrain and every obstacle with confidence. It's also smooth shifting and super durable, with every gear change positive in all conditions, thanks in part to the gear lever that's designed to prevent mud from building up around it.

CRANKSHAFT

Engineered to be just the right weight to create a lively response from the motor without sacrificing torque, the EC 300 crankshaft is perfectly balanced. This means less vibration from the motor, which is reduced even further thanks to the counter balancer shaft. The end result is less fatigue and therefore, more comfort, allowing you to ride for longer!. Just what you want when it comes to enduro.

CRANKCASE

Low in weight and super-strong, the crankcases have a thin-wall design that was made possible by using a high-pressure, die-cast production process. Within the crankcases, all moving parts are positioned to centralize mass, which plays a big role in making this bike a blast to ride!

COUNTER BALANCER SHAFT

The EC 300 motor houses a laterally mounted counter balancer shaft to significantly reduce vibration. The result? More comfort, which you'll definitly beneft from during longer and more technical rides.

EXHAUST SYSTEM

Delivering enduro specific power as well as being competition-compliant, all our exhausts are designed and built to meet FIM sound regulations! Our 2-stroke header pipes are super strong and offer optimal geometry, performance, and ground clearance, making them less susceptible to damage. The 2-stroke mufflers also feature an advanced internal construction for excellent noise damping and weight saving.

DAMPED DIAPHRAGM STEEL (DDS) CLUTCH

To ensure a consistent clutch action and a super light feel at the lever, the GASGAS EC 300 if fitted with a Damped Diaphragm Steel (DDS) clutch and a BRAKTEC hydraulic clutch system. Using a single diaphragm spring instead of using the more common coil springs, the design also incorporates a damping system, which increases both traction and durability. Additionally, the robust basket and inner hub guarantee optimal oil supply and cooling to the clutch. It's almost maintenance free, too!

PARTS

BRAKES

To make sure every rider gets the braking performance they need, we've bolted on one of our most popular Technical Accessories to the EC 300 GP - a 260mm Semi-floating Front Brake Disk! And together with BRAKTEC brake systems front and rear, this may well be the best braking set-up out there in the world of enduro.

HYDRAULIC CLUTCH

When riding enduro, you know full well that you'll need consistent clutch performance, especially when working your way through the toughest of technical sections. So, it's for this very reason that all GASGAS enduro bikes are fitted with a quality BRAKTEC hydraulic clutch system. In addition to the lever being extremely light to pull in, which reduces fatigue, the free play of the system is also self-adjusting. This means the biting point from the moment you fire your GASGAS into life remains the same all day. Every day.

SKID PLATE

Light, durable, and wrapping neatly around the engine, the Skid Plate keeps the underside of the motor and frame fully protected. This means that you can take on the rockiest, gnarliest trails with total confidence. And as it was endurance-tested during development, it's certainly up to the job.

RADIATORS

We've fitted a cooling fan to the GASGAS EC 300 GP so that no matter how gnarly, deep, or crazy the conditions get out there, you won't have to worry about an overheating bike. The fan is a perfect addition to the already brilliant cooling system and guarantees no loss of performance or reliability.

WHEELS & TYRES

It's safe to say that we've really stepped things up in the wheels and tires department on this bike! You can't really miss the black rims, can you? And they really do transform the look of the EC 300 GP. Then, to make sure you can get over any obstacle and up any hill climb with ease, they're wrapped with new DUNLOP AT82 tires for maximum traction and grip.

OIL TANK & PUMP

No need for premixing here! Running at an average fuel-to-oil ratio of 1:60 means one tank of oil is enough for hours and hours of riding. Controlled by the Engine Management System, an electronic oil pump feeds oil into the throttle body based on how hard the motor is working so you can be confident that no matter how hard this thing's revving, the motor is always perfectly lubricated. Additionally, when the oil level is getting low, a warning light illuminates so you'll know exactly when it's time to add a little more oil.

Features & Benefits

ELECTRONICS

ELECTRONICS

ENGINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (EMS)

All GASGAS EC 2-stroke models feature the most advanced Engine Management System (EMS) of any 2-stroke enduro bike out there, which means riders can fully focus on the trails ahead. The brain of the system is the Electronic Control Unit (ECU), which engages a different map for each gear to give the very best performance as well as a Rollover Sensor which stops the motor in the event of a heavy fall. Put simply, by controlling the ignition timing and the amount of fuel injected, using sensor data such as intake air temperature, throttle position, and coolant temperature, the EMS takes care of everything related to fuel, air, and oil.

LED LIGHT

By using LEDs to light the way, the headlight is almost three times brighter than a traditional bulb and is particularly effective when you're deep into dense woodland. And should either the mask or headlight get damaged, the two-piece design lets you replace only what's broken.

MAP SELECT SWITCH

Sometimes in enduro, you'll want a different style of power delivery depending on the terrain or situation, and this is precisely why the EC 300 GP is fitted with a Map Select Switch! Giving you a choice of two maps, Map 1 is super mellow and perfect for slow, technical sections, and then there's Map 2 when deep mud or soft dirt is on the menu. Plus, you can switch between each map while riding so there's no need to stop. Just engage the map you need and get on the gas!

THROTTLE BODY

For 2025, our 2-stroke motors are fuelled using Throttle Body Injection - a 39mm Keihin throttle body, to be precise - which works together with the ECU to deliver the perfect mix of fuel and air. The end result? Crisp, clean running motors that create smooth, strong power.

ELECTRIC STARTER

To simplify starting and stopping, we've now put the buttons for each function into the same housing on the right-hand side of the bars. The starter motor itself is powered by a lightweight, Li-lon battery that fires this GASGAS into life as soon as you hit that start button. It's fast and reliable. Just what you want from an electric start, really.
