Geoff Aaron 4th place at the 3rd round of the 2018 Endurocross series and 6th for Andrew DeLong At Muddobbers National Enduro

It was a great night at the 3rd Round of the Endurocross series that started out with Noah Kepple winning his first heat ever aboard the GasGas XC300.   In the main event, Geoff Aaron got a 2nd place start and held strong until a small bobble put him into 4th place where he held strong til the end.  Noah’s ride was the opposite, starting out almost dead last but charged through the field to 6th before the finish.

FAR Racing Gas Gas North America’s Andrew DeLong brought his GasGas XC300 in for a season’s-best sixth place finish at this weekend’s Muddobbers National Enduro in Matthews, Indiana.

The Muddobbers course is one of the most popular courses on the circuit and it is also very technical, with lots of tight and slippery sections along with some extremely fast runs through bean fields where the riders can reach over 70 mph. Andrew kicked off the day with a top-five time in the opening test. And at the end of the day, he turned in his best performance of the season and raved about the bike after the race.

Andrew DeLong: I feel like all the hard work is starting to pay off. I was feeling it today – I’m happy with the bike and I’m happy with how I rode. I lost my brakes in one of the tests and that cost me about 30 seconds and then I had a run-in with a lapper and that cost me big-time, so I think I could have been fourth or fifth today if not for those two mishaps. I just feel like things are coming together for both me and the bike. The bike was absolutely incredible today. It was slick and technical out there and then there were some places that we really fast, and the bike never missed a beat.

The FAR Racing Gas Gas North America team returns to action on September 30th for the Mason-Dixon GNCC in Mount Morris, Pennsylvania, round 11 of the Amsoil Grand National Cross Country Series.
