Top 10 For Gas Gas North America At Loose Moose National Enduro

FAR Racing Gas Gas North America’s Andrew DeLong scored a respectable ninth place finish on his GasGas XC300 at this weekend’s Loose Moose National Enduro in Marquette, Michigan.

DeLong had his bright moments on the tricky Michigan terrain, which featured anything from sand to large moss-covered rocks and deep sinkholes. However, after getting off to a good start in the sandy first tests, the Pennsylvania rider suffered a lapse in focus in the last two tests that was tough to overcome. Had it not been for the fifth test, where DeLong was 24th fastest, he would have most likely finished in or around the top five.

Andrew DeLong: I had a good day going but then I made a mistake and after that I started pushing and I just let it get away from me after that. Overall, I was riding well, but I just went off the rails in the last two tests. The bike is working great and we made good adjustments to set up the bike for this type of terrain. We continue to make progress, but I just need to stay focused for the entire day.

The FAR Racing Gas Gas North America team returns to action on September 16th for the Black Sky GNCC in Harpursville, New York, round 10 of the Amsoil Grand National Cross Country Series.
